Osprey's Elite Series #62, American Civil War Zouaves (Plate B) shows drawings of two privates wearing the first zouave uniforms of the 11th New York.  Ed's set shows the unit in these uniforms of early 1861.  Plate C of the same book shows the 11th in a later issued uniform including a red fez (see Ed's 11th New York Edition B).
